This past Wednesday the dance department at Hofstra celebrated Earth day by hosting a yoga class on the quad. It was a beautiful day, probably the warmest day we've had this far. I've only done yoga a few times before but I am definitely intrigued.

I've found that yoga and meditation are great stress relievers.  Yoga is something that I have always been interested in but never really got into. Over the winter I tried an ariel yoga class which was so much fun. I felt so relaxed yet also strong after the class. I hope to take some more yoga classes over the summer.

Recently I've been working on trying to relieve stress. I am always stressed out about something. I like to think I handle it well but I'm only human. This year I have tried not to let things get to me. I have also worked on letting go what's out of my control. I believe incorporating yoga into my daily routine will help this.
