This year I made the decision not to share my new years resolutions. I didn't want to say I was going to change something about my lifestyle without following through.
One of my resolutions was to come up with a workout plan and stick to it. After Christmas I got myself a one month membership to a gym in my town. I figured if I could consistantly go to the gym before I go back to school, it would be easier to work out during the school year. Since getting my membership, I've been going to the gym every day.
Running is something I loved to do when I was younger. I used to run every day and back in middle school I ran a couple of road races. After a reoccurring knee injury however, I stopped running.
Anyways, this past month I've slowly began running again. Yesterday I was able to run 3 miles without stopping. This may not seem like a lot to avid runners out there but for me this was a pretty big deal. I honestly can't remember the last time I ran 3 miles straight.
It's important to celebrate the small victories no matter how small.
Have you any recent victories?
