Yesterday I went into the city with my roommate to study for finals. I desperately needed a break from the stress at Hofstra and what better place to do that than New York City. It was a bit cloudy but a nice day nonetheless. In the morning, I studied outside at Bryant Park. It was so peaceful.
Later on, we moved to the New York Public Library. I had never been there before but it was a nice change of pace. Priya and I sat in a room with a bunch of law students (I felt slightly out of place as a dance major).
When we were both sick of studying and realized how hungry we were, we decided to leave and get some food. On our way to 8th ave, we passed this outdoor food market called Urban Space. They had all different types of delicious smelling foods. I ended up choosing a burger and fries. This burger was amazing and will go on my list of best burgers of all time.
After lunch, we treated ourselves to some ice cream. We ended our day wandering around the city and studying at a cafe. It was an ideal way to study and another lovely day spent in the city.
