This past week I had my first faculty dance concert at Hofstra. I can honestly say it was one of the greatest weeks of my college experience thus far. I am honored to have been apart of a fantastic show with an amazing group of talented dancers and friends.
The piece I was in was titled "That You Are Here" and was choreographed by Ellie Kusner who is an adjunct professor at Hofstra. It was about being yourself and accepting who you are. Each member of the piece wore a different color. I had the pleasure of wearing head to toe red. Unfortunately for me, red is my least favorite color.
It's a bittersweet feeling. I am relieved that it's over. After months of rehearsals, a week and a half of tech and dress rehearsals and five performances, I'm exhausted. On the other hand, I'm sad that it's over. It was truly an incredible experience that I will never forget.
Don't you just love my costume?
